GCKey provides individuals and businesses with electronic credentials for securely interacting with Government of Canada online services.
Ottawa, Ontario October 18, 2012 - 2Keys Security Solutions announces it was awarded a contract by the Government of Canada to provide the Government of Canada Branded Credential Service known as GCKey. GCKey is part of the Government’s Cyber Authentication Renewal Initiative and provides individuals and businesses with electronic credentials for securely accessing online services offered by Federal Government Departments and Agencies.
“2Keys has been providing identity and access management consulting and managed security services for over a decade to Governments and the Financial Sector, and is pleased to have been selected to offer this secure, cost effective and standards based solution,” said Robert Pierce, 2Keys President and Chief Security Officer. “GCKey is a SAML 2.0 Credential Service Provider (CSP) that plays a key role in enabling the federation of electronic credentials across the Federal Government.”
GCKey is currently available to Government of Canada Departments and Agencies.
